Following the path I started last week in my meditation on Korihor’s curse, this week I explore Alma’s efforts to try the virtue of words.

I’ve just caught up on the last three entries (somehow finding time to just listen is incredibly difficult for me) and I’m still enjoying them very much. What does student feedback look like?
Glad to hear you’re listening, Th.
The student reaction has been mostly positive. Each semester I get comments from those who bother to listen (I know not all of my students do) about a) how my screencasts have helped them become more conscious of how they use language and b) how students have appreciated the way the screencasts convey my passion for the course’s subject matter. I have had a student or two suggest that I should be less of a language nerd. I didn’t take the advice, but I have tried to keep in mind that not everyone gets as excited as I do about language and how it works.

Hey… My comments missing. And it’s not being held either. That’s . . . curious.
Did you leave a comment other than the one I responded to?
