AMV’s own Patricia Gunter Karamesines will be reading from her award-winning novel The Pictograph Murders at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the new South Jordan Library (10673 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT). Patricia says that this will probably be the last reading she does in awhile so tomorrow is your last chance to take hear the voice behind the words.
Details at the Salt Lake County Library Web site (okay so not much more there than what I have posted, but there’s other stuff of interest).
Hat tip: Darlene at the AML List. And a note to all Bloggernaclites and esp. AMV contributers and commenters — if you have a cultural-related event or publication to announce, don’t be shy. E-mail me.
Sounds cool. Too bad YM will prevent me from getting over there. . . .

Why not make the reading the YM activity? I would have loved to do something cultural for YM instead of playing basketball in the gym every Tuesday — even though I enjoy shooting hoops.
