An exploration of cinema from an LDS (Mormon) perspective.  A ‘sister site’ of “A Motley Vision” — dedicated to an exploration of arts and culture within the LDS community.

Posts are oriented towards:

• Reviews of LDS films (defined as a film with some LDS connection, whether through actors, directors, or content)
• Reviews of non-LDS films which contain subject matter with some LDS connection, or of general interest to LDS audiences
• Discussion of topics related to film and movie-watching in general from an LDS perspective.

LDS Cinema sometimes links to Amazon product pages using an Amazon Associates code, which means that it will receive a small percentage (the exact percentage varies) of anything bought from Amazon.com during the session initiated by that link as a referral fee. Who are we?

KevinB:   Computer programmer by day; would-be screenwriter by night.  (Don’t hold your breath waiting for my name to appear in the credits of any movie anytime soon, though)  I’ve been writing about LDS films since 2004 — many of the posted reviews are from previous websites that have been tweaked and rewritten for posting here at LDS Cinema Online.
